We are a United Methodist congregation that takes seriously the UM saying, “open hearts, open minds, open doors.” Our informal worship mixes traditional and contemporary music with messages of spiritual depth and intellectual substance. Worshipers find the healing God offers us in Christ, and grow in grace as we offer it to others. There is no hidden political test to join our church. There is a tradition of service ministries to and with the local community, from the Sunday school’s collection of canned and dried food for the local food pantry in the fall, to serving monthly in the local soup kitchen, to our annual spring “Grove Relief” work project, involving rebuilding projects for needy neighbors. The heart of our church is a commitment to “love God and love your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27
