WEDDINGS, FUNERALS AND OTHER SPECIAL EVENTS

If you or a loved one is looking for a small, idyllic setting for your wedding, funeral service or other special event, you have found it.  Our church comfortably sits 100 with capacity up to 130.  We have a Fellowship Hall downstairs with plenty of tables and chairs plus a fairly large kitchen for set-up purposes.

Our church began as a camp retreat for Methodists in Washington, DC in 1872.  Our current church was completed in 1964. 

Washington Grove United Methodist Church can provide a beautiful church and reception area downstairs. We have hosted many, many weddings and enjoy each one as it celebrates the bond that is wished to be shared between two loving people.

All funerals are conducted respectfully with due regard and consideration to the family. Pastor Young can customize the service towards your loved one's requests.
